Cutting edge treatment to enhance performance.

Shock Wave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal problems. It involves the application of high energy acoustical (sound ) waves. These high pressure wave penetrate deeply into tissue to block pain receptors, increase blood flow, and stimulate healing. Shock wave therapy does not involve electrical pulses.

This innovative therapy has been shown to be successful in cases which were non responsive to other treatments.

In addition, there are no negative side effects. Shock wave therapy is performed while the horse is standing, with a mild tranquilizer.

Conditions successfully treated with Shock Wave Therapy:

  • Arthritis
  • Tendon & Ligament Injuries
  • Sore Backs
  • Navicular Syndrome
  • Splints

Shock Wave Therapy has been used in human medicine for over 25 years for the treatment of kidney stones, as well as a number of orthopedic problems.
